Day 3

27th July, 2011

I managed to avoid snacking last night until approx 9pm when Mr Lawrence requested a Wham bar so i joined him although i didnt enjoy it one bit. I'm sure that Wham bar wont make a huge amount of difference and is considerably less then the usual junk i consume past 7pm!

This evening is gym session number 2 and hoping to last longer then 25 minutes this time. 30 mins on the cross trainer and hopefully 30 mins on the treadmill .. then a few side crunches to loose the love handles (pah!). Deffinalty need to work on an upbeat playlist as the likes of Mr. Saxobeat made a huge improvement to the pace i was working at.

Todays Meal Plan:

Breakfast: Jordans Country Crisp Cereal - Raspberry.
Lunch: Wholemeal Pitta Pockets (as yesterday)
Dinner: Again undecided.

Snacks: NONE!

Again dinner is undecided, the temptation of an Indian take-away is flying high and Mr Lawrence is up for one as he mentioned it yesterday. How on earth am i going to make this weight loss work!

I'm pretty sure after i had Jake the weight dropped off as i simply cut out junk foods in the form of chocolate, biscuits, cakes and crisps. So if i work out 3 times a week and do sit ups, cut out the above i should loose weight and tone up slightly. Heres hoping!!

Yay!!

Morning!

I managed to avoid the late night snacking that seems to be a growing tradition since Mr Lawrence gets peckish around 8:30pm and opts for a greasy kebab prompting me to get some chips and a hotdog (the chips come covered in lettuce and onions so healthy, of course :P).

The decent bedtime didnt quite work, midnight before my head touched the pillow but felt ok this morning. Tried to do an online shop to avoid buying junk food but missed the cut off time so had to venture out this morning at 8:45am with the Little Lawrences to Tescos.

Stocked up on my fav cereal of the moment, Jordans Country Crisp. It fills me up until lunchtime and tastes absolutly scrummy. 246 calories in a 50g bowl though so quite high. The main thing is that it fills me up so to avoid  snacking 246 calories for breakfast is a small amount to pay i think.
Todays Meal Plan:
Breakfast: Jordans Country Crisp Cereal: Raspberries.
Lunch: Wholemeal Pitta Pockets (Chicken Tikka, Lettuce, Red Onion, Yellow Pepper and Grated Carrot.
Dinner: Oven Baked Seasoned Chicken, Brown Basmati Rice and Seasoned Peppers.

Snacks: NONE!

I managed to sort out dinner for tonight and do 30 sit-ups already today so by 3pm this afternoon i will have done another 30 which is my target for the day - yay me! Also have a potential Pole Dancing buddy. I think if i noone commits to it I will get a private class £20 per hour .. quite steep but may find the courage to join a group once i know the basics.

Weighted myself this morning and was 9st 8lbs .. which is about right since the weight changes throughout the day. Tummy measures 92.5cm ..wow! that needs to be reduced lol.

I actually did it, i went to the gym .. albiet only for 25 minutes but hey its a start and better then a night on the sofa eating biscuits. I spent the whole 25 minutes on the cross-trainer which, absolutly ruined me and not sure i burnt the calories from the Large Quarter Pounder With Cheese meal from Mcdonalds i had 30 minutes before i went. Bad idea i think.

The main thing is i stuck to my word and got off my ever-growing bottom and went. Next session on Wednesday and hopefully alot longer then 25 minutes. In between the gym sessions i'm hoping to do at least 60 sit-ups a day and find a friend to join a Pole Dancing class. Before you think it and i know you were going to .. there is no alternate motive for the Pole Dancing other then to blast this tummy away although i'm sure i'll get nagged for a dance from Mr Lawrence. 

Its now 19:54pm so cut off time for eating, fingers crossed i maintain the willpower to avoid snacking and get to bed at a decent time.

The Beginning ....

Well, today marks the start of a few changes and of course, the New Me!
After having both Kaitlyn and Jake i weighed a whopping 11st 5lbs and went from a size 10-14!

Almost 2 years on, the baby belly remains but even with no work-out or strict diet (infact i have been eating so much crap i'm suprised i even lost 1lb) i weigh 9st 11lb. Great, but not great enough. Mr Lawrence and I have just 2 Months, 2 Weeks and 1 Day until we tie the knot ..  so today is the day I start loosing weight, toning up and gaining some much needed confidence. Afterall, I am only 21!.

Todays meal plan:

Breakfast: Jordans Country Crisp Cereal - Honey Nut.
Lunch: Small White Baguette & Tomato and Basil Soup.
Dinner:
Snacks: Fabulous Baking Boys Oaty Flapjack Stick and a Fox's Biscuit!

See, dinner is the problem in the Lawrence household. We can never decide on a dinner or be bothered to go out and buy the ingredients for one ... so today dinner is unknown but tomorrow dinner will be sorted for the remainder of the week, why? .. because I WILL MAKE THIS WORK!

Tonight is the first gym session in over a year, membership is already sorted from previous and going alone so i hope my £4.50 fee  and I can crack this fitness malarky.

With the help of blogging, pictures and willpower my aim is to loose 1st 5lb in 2 months and tone up the unsightly wobbles that lurk beneath!
